Since obtaining my Masters Degree in 2006, I have worked in Vermont and New York State. My most recent agency position was at St Joseph's Hospital Health Center as the Clinical Staff Educator for the Outpatient Clinic. I have been interviewed in print, radio, and television on matters of mental health and substance abuse. I have been hired by the NYS Office of Mental Health, Syracuse University, Tompkins County Community College, and Helio Health to train staff on treatment approaches, as well as teaching undergraduate courses
My special interests are Women's Mental health, Pregnancy and Postpartum disorders, Reproductive mental health, Anxiety Disorders, OCD, PTSD, and mood disorders.
With intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Approaches.
