My practice is an active approach to change. But if you are here, you are ready for this. It is collaborative and focused on making sure that you are able to move on with your life from whatever has lead you to explore therapy.
My focus is to explore experiences and patterns. This is through the emotional, biological, history, and current experiences that drive painful patterns.
In an effort to support Social Distancing I am now able to provide teletherapy. Teletherapy is use of visual and audio communication (similar to Facetiming) that is HIPAA compliant. This allows for you to see me remotely (from your home, office, car) and still have it be covered by insurance as any other visit.
Anxiety, chronic stress, and depression are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. But you might be wondering why or how you have gotten stuck in these mood states, and they continue to haunt you. It is more common than not that high functioning and highly intelligent individuals struggle with these experiences.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, panic, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Mood and anxiety experiences that are connected to reproductive events (cycles, menopause, pregnancy, miscarriage, and birth) have to be considered thoroughly. I have specific training in how these experiences affect mood and stress, as well as ways to approach coping and change.
